The tournament is based on the EJL EMV 2026 regulations.

• In age groups 2014–2017 it is allowed to use 2 players who were born on 1 August or later in the year preceding the age group’s base birth year. To avoid confusion, please bring a passport or ID card.

• In age groups 2012–2013 it is allowed to use 3 players who were born on 1 August or later in the year preceding the age group’s base birth year. To avoid confusion, please bring a passport or ID card.

In tournaments played in a tournament system, the following criteria are used in case of equal points:

a) Points from matches between the teams;
b) Goal difference from matches between the teams;
c) Overall goal difference;
d) Number of goals scored;
e) Disciplinary measures:
   Abandoned matches, annulment of results;
   Yellow cards;
   Red cards.
f) Drawing of lots.

A player sent off with a red card is disqualified for the next Cup Kääriku 2026 match. The organisers and the head referee may grant permission to participate in the next match if the red card was received in a game-related situation.
