On the first day of the tournament that is friday, 27th of May, there will be a Street Panna 1v1 competition going on in Daugavas stadium. Everyone between ages 7-12 will be able to participate in this event and showcase their skills and abilities except Spring Cup official participants. On the second day of the tournament that is saturday, 28th of May, there will be a Adidas SmartBall competition taking place in Olimpijas stadium as every single one of Spring Cup participants will be able to take place in it.
This will be the 9th time when Spring Cup will take place in Liepaja, Latvia. What started out as a local tournament involving teams from Latvia and Baltic States has turned into an elite level youth football tournament with world-class teams taking part year from year.
9 countries will be represented this year - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Germany, England, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine. And the matches will be played in 2 different locations for the first time in tournament history.
As usual there are no entry fees for spectators and there will definitely be plenty of talent to see from these young footballers.
