RULES

Teams and players

  • A player may only play for one team in one age group during the tournament.
  • Before the first match, each team must submit a registration form to the tournament organizers and, if necessary, a photo ID for the player.
  • The team size is predetermined and can be found in the tournament information section.
  • Teams are allowed to register 2 players who were born on or after August 1 of the year preceding the main birth year of the age group.


 

  Rules

  • Rolling substitutions are allowed.
  • Two yellow cards received by the same player in one match result in a red card.
  • A player who receives a red card must miss the next match.
  • A player who receives a red card for violent conduct is not allowed to continue participating in the tournament.
  • Players may only enter and leave the field across the sideline on their own half of the pitch.
  • No extra time will be played. In the event of a draw in the semifinals and placement matches, the winner will be decided by penalties (3 penalties each). Goalkeepers may be substituted before the penalty shootout.


 

  Special rules for U7-U9

  • A team trailing by four goals is allowed to add one additional outfield player. The extra player must leave the field once the goal difference is reduced to two goals.
  • Goals may not be scored directly from kick-off.
  • The goalkeeper may restart play with their hands.
  • The goalkeeper is allowed to pick up a back pass.
  • Two yellow cards received by the same player in one match result in a red card.
  • A player who receives a red card must miss the next match.
  • A player who receives a red card for violent conduct is not allowed to continue participating in the tournament.
  • In the U7 and U8 age groups, players may restart play from throw-ins, corner kicks, free kicks, and penalties by passing, shooting, or dribbling.


 

Tournament system

If teams are level on points in the group stage, the final standings will be determined by:

  1. Point in head-to head match(es)
  2. Goal difference in head-to-head match(es)
  3. Goals scored in head-to-head match(es)
  4. Overall goal difference
  5. Overall goals scored
  6. Red cards
  7. Penalties


 

  Liability

FC Elva does not assume responsibility for injuries, health issues, illnesses, theft, or other material losses that may occur during the tournament.
