“Saku Spring” is a pre-season football tournament enriched with traditions that has been taking place since 2015, welcoming B-level teams from Estonia, the Baltic states, Scandinavia, and beyond.
Traditionally, the heart of the tournament has been Saku village and its sports center with an artificial turf stadium. However, over the years, the tournament has expanded towards Tallinn and Rapla, offering games at the Lasnamäe, Sõle, and Rapla artificial turf fields as well as indoor halls.
The main goal of the tournament is to provide teams with a consistently high level of competition to help them prepare for the upcoming season and to provide an opportunity to meet both local and foreign peers.
